The General Council of the Kel Ansars and Allies has issued a strong communiqué urging unity, discipline, and national cohesion as Mali navigates a period of uncertainty.
In the statement released on April 30, 2026, in Bamako, the council emphasized the need for citizens to remain vigilant against misinformation, manipulation, and divisive narratives that could undermine national stability. It called on the public to rely solely on official communications from Malian authorities and to disregard unverified information.
The council also expressed unwavering support for the Forces Armées Maliennes (FAMA), commending their courage and sacrifices in defending the country and ensuring the safety of its people.
Extending solidarity to victims of the ongoing situation, the statement conveyed well wishes for the swift recovery of the injured and offered condolences to families who have lost loved ones. It also paid tribute to those missing, praying for mercy and eternal peace.
Addressing civil and military officials, the communiqué stressed that the moment demands responsibility, discipline, and total commitment to national duty. It further called on youth, traditional leaders, and civil society to rise collectively and act in unity for the greater good.
The message concluded with a strong appeal for solidarity, urging all Malians to remain united and determined in the face of current challenges.
