U.S.–Israel War with Iran Escalates as Region Braces for Wider Conflict

The conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has intensified, with fresh military confrontations, rising civilian concerns, and growing fears of a broader regional war.

Reports from multiple international media outlets indicate that a U.S. fighter jet was recently shot down over Iranian territory, marking a significant escalation in hostilities and underscoring the increasingly direct nature of the conflict between Washington and Tehran. Search-and-rescue operations are said to be ongoing.
